Inbound slots

Approaching Birrfeld is possible during the following slots.  

08h00 until 10h00

10h10 until 11h00

11h30 until 12h00

12h20 until 13h15

14h00 until 14h35

15h00 until 15h45

16h10 until 16h30

17h00 until Sunset

In between there will be aircraft and vehicle displays overhead respectively on the runway. Landing is therefore not possible at these times. All times are  local.

Information for aerobatic and display pilots:  

Situation of aerobatic box and display circuit:: 

Important:  Mandatory briefings for all aerobatic and display pilots  (NO BRIEFING - NO FLIGHT):

  • Pilots flying their display in the morning: 08h30 - 09h00 in the C-Office building, class room 1 in the basement.
  • Pilots flying their display in the afternoon: 13h30 - 14h00 in the C-Office building, class room 1 in the basement.

 

Customs procedure

Customs is available on Saturday as well as on Sunday for incoming and outgoing traffic. 

A flight plan is necessary in any cases.  

Guests coming from abroad are asked to report their approx. approach time if possible by Friday noon to the contact person.  
We will then inform the custom about the arrival time after we get your flight plan (on Saturday).

Guests who can not inform us on Friday are kindly asked to call us at least one hour before the planned arrival time on Saturday.

Approach charts, Situation on the airfield (taxiways, parking position etc.)

A Follow-Me car will guide you to your parking position after landing. Old-timer aircrafts will be parked on the north side of the runway. All other aircrafts will be parked south of the runway.  

Pilots of old-timer aircrafts are kindly asked to register at the pilots welcome desk. This desk will be in the same building as the C-office.
